Isabelle and the Monkeycats Host Barney

Isabelle and the Monkeycats host Barney in the Windy City.

This mysterious message just came in from the monkeycat:

I THINK I KILLED HIM!!!! WHHAAATT? Isn’t that the whole point???

Has Barney ever visited a Monkeycat before?

He’s just been rescued over meowing protests and hasn’t had much in the way of adventure yet… It is probably going to be a few days before poor Barney has any adventures.

As it turns out, Barney’s latest host has pneumonia. Hopefully she doesn’t pass it on to the little purple guy because he’s got places to go and Tripawds to meet! Stay tuned to the discussion forums for a delirious post from littlemanjake to find out if Barney made it out of the Windy City alive.

Chloe Drags Barney Back to the Beach

Chloe chews off Barney’s eye and drags him to the beach during another KillBarney Tour California Tripawd visit.

Ding! Ding! We have a winner – Ginger was right. It was Chloe who had Barney all along. And boy have they been busy…

Highlights of Barney’s Visit

Barney was initiated by Chloe immediately upon arrival through the removal of his right eye. It seems to be a popular place to chew amongst the tripawds! We definitely started his visit on the right note! But before I tell you what else Chloe did to our purple friend, I will first elaborate further on our other adventures.

Chloe loves going to the beach, so why not take Barney around to show him how great the California weather is in winter? While we were there, we enjoyed the sunny day, found some sea glass, chased the receding waves, buried Barney in the sand… a wonderful time was had by all, especially by Chloe.

Barney is Stylin And on St. Patrick’s day, Barney told me he wanted to find some luck. So on our daily walk he rummaged through patches of clovers along the way. He was hoping to find a four leaf clover you know!

Unfortunately that didn’t pan out… I asked him why he wanted to find some luck and he told me he wanted to become a real toy like the other ones Chloe had…

Missing Barney Report Filed

Barney is missing in action, can you guess where he is?

Just when we started to wonder where Barney was headed next, we received this mysterious anonymous note:

Goodness, me what could it be?

Another package just for me?
Oh the smell is so great,

I hope mom stops making me wait,
because I’m dying to see what lies in wait.

Oh my, what a surprise!
Barney has come so I may chew his eye!
All I can promise (I’ll give you a clue),
is that the time has come, the killing is due.

Who is Barney’s mystery Tripawd host? Where did he go after his visit with Xander the Great? What lies in store for the little purple Guy? Perhaps this picture provides a hint…

Where Barney is, we do not know it,
Where he has been, well that’s a breeze.

But from the looks of things, he’ll need Febreze. 🙂

Barney takes another Great trip to Florida

Barney visits Tripawds member xanderdane in Tampa, Florida for fun times with Alexander the three legged Great Dane.

Barney gets around! From one corner of the country to the other … jdsmom up in Puyallup, Washington sent Barney to meet Alexander down in Tampa, Florida. We just heard from xanderdane with this message:

“Yes JD’s mom sent Barney to us!

We welcomed him into our home in Sunny Tampa Florida two days ago… I’m sure he’ll be having some adventures here shortly.

I can’t tell you what an awesome thing the Barney doll is … knowing that so many families and dogs, touched by the same disease and hardship, have shared this connection.

We will be taking many photos, and have lots to post…”

Is Barney Dead or Alive?

Barney found left for dead in the snow after Puyallup KillBarney Tour date! News at 11:00.

Ever since Barney got drunk and crazy then jumped bail, we’ve been wondering about his whereabouts. Then we saw this…

It came along with a note mentioning “all the fun Barney had in the snow with Serena and Maya” in Puyallup. Hopefully we’ll get to read all the nitty gritty details soon in JD’s Blog.
